Booking an Appointment:

Each of our artists book projects individually. You can see each individual artist's rates, flash pieces, projects they’re interested in, and how to submit a request for an appointment with them on their individual page. 

When submitting a request for an appointment with an artist, please be sure to be as thorough as possible with your descriptions. including reference images of both inspiration & the area of your body you hope to have tattooed.

Custom Designs: 

Our artists are busy tattooing by day, and designing your custom requests in their free time. Your custom design will be prepared for you to view on the day of your appointment. 

Drawings may be sent the night before your appointment only if previously requested. 

Drawings are typically a draft of the design to allow for any adjustments to be made. 

From time to time our artists offer art print commissions and/or clothing designs. Follow an artist's individual Instagram account to stay up to date.

Deposits, Cancellation: 

Your artist will ask for a deposit at the time of booking to hold your appointment. Deposits are taken off the final cost of your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable. 

Appointments cancelled in under 48 hours notice will require a new deposit to reschedule. 

Appointments rescheduled more than once may be subject to a new deposit and/or a forfeit of appointment.

Walk-In:

Our artists occasionally offer walk-in appointments. Check our daily Instagram stories or see if the walk-ins sign is set up outside the shop to see if we’re offering availability on any given day.

Appointment Prep: 

Please try to arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment, but please refrain on being too early. Please refrain from bringing more than one guest. 

If you are using transit, please note Abbotsford bus system does not accept compass cards. 

Come hydrated & well fed, and feel free to bring any snacks or sugary drinks if you’re in for a longer session. Wear comfy clothing that allows easy accessibility to the area you are getting tattooed. Bring headphones if you feel the need to tune out during your tattoo appointment.

We provide wall dividers & nipple covers for client’s privacy/comfort if desired for more exposed tattoos.

Aftercare & Touch-Ups: 

After your tattoo, your artist will give you aftercare instructions on how to best take care of your new tattoo. 

Our studio offers second skin style bandaging and aftercare products are available for purchase at the shop. 

Touch-ups on your new tattoo are free within six months of your appointment by reaching out directly to your artist. Touch-ups are subject to a charge if booked after six months.

We have zero tolerance for racism, body shaming, homophobia, or any form of hate. Comments regarding any of our clients will result in being banned from our social media & studio. 

We recognize body art & tattooing can be an immensely personal part of your own journey.

In pursuit of making Remedy a safe space for all, we ask clients to consider their own state of well-being prior to their appointment, and acknowledge that Remedy is a shared space. Our artists do their very best to make clients feel comfortable & at ease, but please consider your artists personal boundaries, as occasionally conversation topics can become triggering and/or overwhelming for everyone in our shared space. 

We reserve the right to cancel your appointment up until the moment of tattooing. 

We do not consent for any of our art to be taken to other artists to be tattooed.
